Thomas Partey to leave Arsenal?

While there is interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, Arsenal is prepared to let Thomas Partey depart, which may allow them to sign Romeo Lavia from Southampton even though there is interest from other big Premier League teams.

According to the source, Southampton’s Romeo Lavia could transfer to Arsenal as a result of Thomas Partey’s interest from Saudi Arabia clubs. Some of the major clubs in the Premier League are showing interest in Lavia, who is expected to leave Southampton after they were demoted from the Premier League last season.

Partey played an important role for the Gunners last season as they launched a genuine Premier League title campaign, appearing 33 times. Fabrizio Romano claims there is a “concrete” likelihood that the Ghanaian international would go, although the Gunners’ aspirations to bolster their midfield this summer—amid links with Declan Rice and Romeo Lavia at West Ham and Southampton, respectively—could well result in his departure.

While Manchester City has a buy-back option after selling the Belgian to the Saints last summer, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool are also interested in the player. Arsenal are currently dominating the battle. The Gunners’ top objective is still Declan Rice, but so far this summer, the Hammers have turned down every offer they have made.

They have also been keeping an eye on Moises Caicedo of Brighton, but despite intense interest in January, Brighton’s £100 million asking price is holding them back from making a deal.
