When England plays North Macedonia at Old Trafford on Monday in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, they will try to make it four straight victories.

On Friday, England disposed of Malta with ease en route to a 4-0 victory. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harry Kane, and Callum Wilson all scored goals for Gareth Southgate’s team after Ferdinando Apap’s own goal gave them the lead.

They had a strong performer in Alexander-Arnold, who transitioned gracefully into his new midfield position.

England performed with complete professionalism from beginning to end, not allowing Malta to record a single shot. The Three Lions, who have won all three of their qualifying matches thus far, will want to maintain their unblemished record when they take on North Macedonia.

The Manchester City trio of Jack Grealish, Kyle Walker, John Stones, and Kalvin Phillips may all play under Southgate after missing the match against Malta.

North Macedonia’s situation was not helped by the red card given to defender Visar Musliu in the 72nd minute of a 2-2 tie. They have played two games in the Euro 2024 qualifying tournament and are now fourth in Group C with one victory and one loss.

The opposition from North Macedonia has proven to be challenging for England. In all of their four games with the Lynxes, they haven’t been able to completely dominate them, and none of their two victories have been by more than one goal.

However, England has an excessive amount of skill, and many of their players are in excellent shape. North Macedonia is hardly likely to think well of its chances in this match.
