On Tuesday, August 8, Colombia will face Jamaica at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium in the round of 16.

For the second time, Colombia is in the round of 16. In 2015, when they made their second participation in the World Cup, they were unable to get past this level. They are, however, beginning as determined competitors this time and might prove to be a formidable force in Australia and New Zealand.

With 13 saves against France and 17 against Germany, Jamaica’s goalkeeper Rebecca Spencer has been a great asset. Trudi Carter and Allyson Swaby have produced one goal and one assist, which is impressive.

The favourite to win, though, will be Colombia because of their superior qualification.
