Match preview
The first round of the Champions League group F match ups will see current champions Real Madrid travel to Glasgow on Tuesday to face Scottish giants Celtic.
Ange Postecoglou’s side secured a comfortable 4–0 victory over City rivals Rangers in their last time out. They have now won all seven of their last games this season and look unstoppable.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid who defeated Liverpool 1-0 in the final to lift the trophy for the 14th time last season are also on a 100% run to the start of their 2022/23 La Liga season, beating Almeria, Celta Vigo, Espanyol and Real Betis to claim all available 12 points to lead the league table.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side will be hoping to kick their champions league title defence on a good note when they visit Glasgow, while their host will hope to scuffle their party plan by ensuring their visitor taste defeat.
