A friendly women’s football match between the Super Falcons of Nigeria and Lions FC will take place on Saturday in Brisbane, Australia.
The Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre will host the game.
The Super Falcons have not participated in a friendly match since beginning their preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, last week.
The friendly will allow head coach Randy Waldrum to fine-tune his strategies and lineups before the match.
With Olympic winners Canada, co-hosts Australia, and debutants Republic of Ireland, the Super Falcons are placed in Group B.
From July 20 to August 20, the 10th FIFA Women’s World Cup will take place.
