Several news outlets have linked Victor Osimhen with a move to the Premier League this summer. The Napoli and Nigerian national team striker has opened up on rumours of a move to England.
The 23 year old had a very impressive 2021/22 season at Napoli scoring a total of 18 goals in 32 appearances in all games tournaments. It is a no-brainer that several Premier League teams are looking to hire his services in their attacks.
His athletic form has attracted some clubs all over Europe with reports linking him to Arsenal, Manchester United and even Real Madrid.
The latest words on the transfer street is that Napoli has rejected a €60 million offer from one of Premier League’s giant Arsenal.
However, Osimhen has announced he will settle his future later when he gets there eventually in the summer saying, ‘I don’t know my future’.
He further said: “I know there are many people that would like me in Spain or England, but I don’t think it’s the right time to talk about it now that I’m with the national team.
“I always go out on the pitch to do my best both with the national team and with my club.
“I don’t know my future. I know anything can happen, but now I just want to go on holiday with my family, clear my head and recharge my batteries. Then we’ll take care of everything else.”
Osimhen was a key in Nigeria’ drubbing of Sao Tome and Principe 10-0 in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Monday, scoring four goals.
