Man United and Chelsea reach a £60 million deal

Mason Mount will be purchased by Manchester United from Chelsea for £60 million; according to Sky Sports News, there may be potential add-ons for an additional £5 million; A five-year deal with an additional year option has been made to the England international by United.

According to Sky Sports News, the deal contains a potential £5 million in add-ons that are heavily reliant on performance and success. The five-year contract from United includes a one-year option for the England international.

Mount, who has one year left on his Stamford Bridge deal, is thought to be interested in joining Erik ten Hag’s team.

Three of United’s initial bids were initially turned down by its Premier League competitors, but the most recent offer had been left on the table and has now been accepted.

Mount is currently en route to Manchester for a checkup.

Under their new manager, Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea is reducing its team. This week, they sold Mateo Kovacic to Manchester City and Kai Havertz to Arsenal. Another midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, is on the verge of joining AC Milan.
