Havertz fails to score in the MLS Skills challenge

In a cross-and-volley competition between MLS All-Star Skills competitors, new Arsenal signing Kai Havertz missed all 14 of his attempts, becoming the first player to score zero.

Havertz participated in the MLS cross-and-volley challenge after joining Arsenal from Chelsea, but he was unable to score at any time. Although it has been noted that he is the only competitor in the challenge’s history to miss every shot, he did rattle the woodwork.

As part of their summer spending spree, Arsenal paid £65 million ($84 million) to Chelsea to get the Germany international. The aggressive midfielder had previously made an impression at the Blues, scoring against Manchester City in the Champions League final. However, this is not a good start for him.

As part of their preseason tour of the United States, Arsenal will take on the MLS All-Stars on Thursday. Before the end of the month, they are scheduled to play Barcelona and Manchester United.
